ahhh gimmie some ideas. that nitro fuel for the glow engines won't show any flame it burns like a "clear" or transparent flame. Most flamethrower set ups are down by killing the ignition while dumping a crapload of fuel through the system.
With the fiftys I think the carb is too small to get enough raw fuel through the exhaust to get any flames out.
Try using a propane tank (like the one from your grill,
) and if you set it up with enough pressure and squirter, you probally can get a good flame...... Just don't say I told you to do it

take a propain bottle run a line to the muffler then make a hole 4 a spark plug like 6 in frum the propain line run a wire frum the spark plug wire to the spark plug in the muffler and watch the fire
Jet fuel wouldnt work
The flash point on jet fuel is way too high it wouldnt work right. You should just pour some raw fuel into your exhaust pipe if you wanna shoot flames out!!! Post the pics when your done
go there, it might help, the pic http://www.sanomx.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=4547#4547
