You gotta reroute the throttle cable to the right side. It fits, you gotta find the right route.

 

ok i had about the same problem but what helped me was to take the carb off the intake then put the slide and cap on... It seemed like there wasn't enough room, the cable was hitting the frame.. Fixed the problem instantly when i did this ....Hope it helps you... Also i routed my cable on the left side of the bike
