How the hell do pop up the front wheel?
Re: How the hell do pop up the front wheel?
the bike is tiny and you over power it.......... remember that...
When you give it gas to bring it up you have to pull up on the bars at the same time.... then lean back and just coast.... like this

Ride that thing, get used to it like it's part of you. The timing will come when you try enough. I keep my chain pretty tight, cuts down the throttle lag. Get after market air filter, and exhaust, these things help cut the throttle lag also. Check this out. There are a few shots that the timing is pretty evident.

$5900 thou i little step ... I would only **** around in town and lots .. your get blown off the freeway with a 250
Re: How the hell do pop up the front wheel?
I paid $4500 for my drz and that isn't any fun over 65MPH on the highway. A 250 would be plain dangerous.
Re: How the hell do pop up the front wheel?
no clutch and **** for power compared to a streetbike maybe
ive been riding it a lil here and there when i get some time...got it to come up a bit gunnin first and shiftin to second. gotta get some pegs so i can practice some lil standups and a better rear shock :YEAH
Re: How the hell do pop up the front wheel?
dizzie56 - the rear pegs are the dogs m8! I just have to blip gas in 2nd it comes right up. In 1st I can pop up to b/p and hang it along about 2 van length(25ft), even manage 2/3 circles. But for the love of god, I can't power up in 2nd from sitting.

My problem now is the back break - it's not linear, it's like a light switch. I have read the mod post, but when I had it apart and checked out shoes the cam lobe had a small slither of sprung steal over the bit I need to grind. The mod say's to grind of 1/8". If I was to do that it would mean no steal left. Would that cause the cast alloy to prematurely wear out. Or does it not matter?? Any idea's please anyone.
Sorry to hijack ya post(again) dizzie56.
