so heres the deal 04 crf50 its been ridin fine before but then i left it sittin in the house for about 1 month n half...then i went to start the bike n no response? can u help me please? i think its the carb so should i remove the carb n spray sum choke spray in it?

means when you try to start the engine the gas is sprayed into the cylinder onto your plug you probaly need to change oil drain gas and start over again there is 10001 yhings that can be wrong so more info I personaly think that it may had been low quality gas and water got in the engine not totaly shure so change oil and dump out old gas

 

dude since your not a engine guru not shure if this would help but clean out the carb dont use choke spray use starter fluid to clean ou thn take apart the head then clean the valves might also be bad rings so check your ring gap or low commpresion not totaly shure

 

If its only been sitting for a month thats not to bad.... what i would do first is take the spark plug wire off the spark plug and give it a couple of cranks to see if u do get a spark if so..... then just change the spark plug..... i had the same problem it was just the spark plug..... i always try and stay a way from the carb.... first

 

Do not hold the plug when you test it m8 :=)

 

got it to work guys i just sprayed sum gas in the carb n put sum fresh gas n im good to go thanx ppl

 

clean out your filter and reoil it
