best big bar kit?
Re: best big bar kit?
im in Arizona and we have a shop that specializes in pit bikes, of any kind, china/whatever... they have a racing series out here and the owner is cool and is running deals on handlebar setup since they are usually the first thing people do to a 50 IMO... and he just sells "Parts" not kits, so you get a clamp between 38-50 bux, depending on which clamp... then grab bars, 25-75 dollars... some good MX bars or TAG bars/Pro Tapers, the ones i bought were the 25 dollar ones cause i like them, they are 7/8 powdercoated black bars, very strong, i dumped the bike soo bad and they didnt bend. then i needed a CR style throttle, cable and grips, XR70 or 80 front brake cable and all that was cheap from him... good quality stuff, i dont have a problem with any of it,... sik50`s stuff isnt bad, i would say they are just like every other handlebar clamp around... i even did one under 50 bux... it looked like this, instead of a handlebar clamp i used 2 chinese handlebar mounts from a SSR on the stock upper triple clamp..
Re: best big bar kit?
I thought they looked kinda junky like the BBR ones.
I like the adjustable triple tree clamp on the protapers. Almost every complete kit comes w/ chromoly bars, no way getting around that unless you piece everything else out seperatly.
