so i have one of those 50 clones and my rear shock has way to much travel. it makes my chain go from loose to tight when i sit on it. i took off the stock shock and putt on one from a 125 dirt bike and it sits higher but way to much travel still. i was thinking about just putting in a alum bar to replace the shock. what does everyone think.

I did that on my 110 clone. Makes it ride like **** unless you're doin a sit down. You can get a HD replacement for just the spring and keep your stock shock on ebay. They're only about 40 bucks. Thats what i'm gonna do. Does yours run 7/8ths bars? Mine has the shitty smaller ones, I'm gonna have a machine shop bore out the triple to hold bigger bars and run normal sized controls then.
