Re: Noob Questions

start with big bars and some stunt pegs. once youve got brake control on lock. then you can do more upgrades

Re: Noob Questions

big bar kit, exhaust, quick response throttle,cr style kill switch for the big bars, tall seat foam with cover(gives you some leg room), wide footpegs (give you better grip and control),front forks or just fork springs and stiffer springs, rear shock w/res (bite the bullet when buyin a rear shock get the resivoir one or else you'll wish you woulda later on.)
have fun with it..

Re: Noob Questions

it really depends on what you want to use it for, big bars are a must no matter what and some stunt pegs would be good too...

Re: Noob Questions

I got it a couple of hours ago and cant get off it, i think the gixxer is gonna have some down time lol. Its an 04 crf 50 and it already has stiffer springs front and rear, taller seat, BBR exhaust, I got a new set of street tires with it, and it has a rev box. What is the best way to get them to stay up? When i shift into second i can get it up pretty good but i can get it to stay up, any suggestions?

ive been riding with my bbr stiff spring since day one and i wouldnt have it any other way for stunting. i hate my buddies bike with the nice rear shock. it flexes to much going from bp and further back it floats around to much.

i run stiff springs and bushings up front and a bbr spring out back. once you break the spring in it flexes some

dont shift wheelies. just get used to yanking them up and using the rear brake to float them at bp and beyond

Re: Noob Questions

hah...the addiction has begun.... as for handbrakes you can buy 50stunt or build one from the tutorial i wrote on bulding one for under 50 bucks...search for it on here reposted by filipe or go to fiddylife.com and go teh the help how to section and it's ina asticky there with pics and full lisyt of parts down to the motion pro part # for the cable..works just as good as teh 50stunt ( u've ridden both)

as for first mods.. my hoest optinion for an adult is big bar kit, BBR stiff springs front and rear ( dont' forget front delring bushings for the forks) and then at elast a stage 1 88 kit so it's not frustrating to ride up hills or in dirt trails...only 140 bucks from trailbikes or 99 bucks for the basic kiton dratv.com
