Kx60??

Ive got the chance to pick up a 97 kx60. Would this make a good lil wheelie machine? From what ive read its watercooled plus its got a 6 speed manual. Ive ridden one of my boys fiddys a bit & im not so hot on the auto...
What about aftermarket parts? Highrise bars & stiffer suspension?
Thx

Re: Kx60??

This one just sold on ebay . He had different bars and a pipe . I guess you could try bikebandit and see if they sell parts for it .

Re: Kx60??

ya its a 2 stroke you can rip fast wheelies all day on them and you can get street tires from somewhere. id say get it. you can get good and slow it down eventually

Re: Kx60??

Hmm i thought they were 4 strokes... but i double checked & sure enough its a 2 stroke. Would be a lot snappier I suppose?
If nothing else comes up ill prolly go for it.

Re: Kx60??

i had one same year with the same intentions, its ok i guess, you can forget about doing stoppies, the front drums **** and they have a **** load of real soft fork travel, personnaly thats what i didnt really like bout stuntin it. but the bike pulled some great wheelies up real snappy with the clutch

Re: Kx60??

oh yeah theres an ok amount of aftermarket parts for it, mostly motor **** kinda outta luck with suspension though, unless you can find a 14 inch stronger shock you can swap it out with, those bikes need em there soft as hell

Re: Kx60??

I think the guy got it sold already so it doesnt matter... He was asking too much anyways, but Im trying to trade my media centre for one.
How about a Giovanni 125? I saw one guy trying to sell one for $1250, then when I did a search I came up with this on ebay...

What gives? Thats so cheap that something doesnt seem right...
We have a minimoto track in calgary, so I wouldnt mind setting up for that.
