do i have to split the cases to put a new clutch in? and where can i get a clutch? woulld i need a new basket or just the plates? much more to come.

 

no just take the side cover off...just like an xr or crf and you can get a clutch from http://www.minigunz.com/ tell jeff kenny sent you...

What is it doing??? if its just slipping then just the plates.... But since your there make sure you check to see that everything else is good like the springs and basket etc...

 

thank you both!! no its not slipping but there doesnt seem to be any more adjustment. like when i loosen the nut and screw the screw in or out, seems like nothing is happening.. so i am just wondering about the plates... what kind of oil do you use in the z50?
