yeah... iwas thinkin about the crf50..that seems to be the bike of choice....

honda for sure, i have an 05 and wrecked the living sheeit out of it more times than i can remember. all i do is beat that thing when i ride it, and it never quits. i have 2 friends that bought the new yamaha 50, both have problems- one has a starter problem and the other leaks oil into the filter during wheelies, making it unrideable; they don't ride their yamaha nearly as hard and as often as i ride my honda.

 

hondas just don't seem to die... fins a used one with all the upgrades for teh same price or less than a new one and you'll be set...as for the TTR 50..i can't understand why people are flocking to them... only one or 2 places make aftermarket performance parts and one's owned by yamaha. and the parts area way more pricey..

ride a honda, and know you;ll be able to ride it again after a hard days beating and wrecking....

I couldn't get my rear tire mounted for anything, i kept getting pissed then yesterday i just relaxed and gave it another try and it went right on oh well i guess

 

honda...dont hear too much about yami...they gatta b pretty decent thoe...

 

NO... LONG STORY SHORT...i didn't ahve boots, and the class was "pretty much full" according to randy when i called...he said " maybe if you get here fast" and i was still in omaha, so i said to hell with it.

whats the difference between the crf and the xr50

 

just a slight difference on the fender shrouds. the crf has a little extra piece on it. otherwise they are the exact same bike. you can get crf plastics for an xr if you wanted to.

 

does 1299 sound good for an 06crf50?

 

i had a04 crf50 that thing was dropped with a passion about twice and it was still running fine.
so i guess the hype about the hondas being bulletproof are true. they last longer than teh rest

You should be able to walk away with one for under 1100, my friend got a 05 from the dealer for a lil over 900 just a couple weeks ago
