Re: Trailbikes 88cc carb and intake Comparison

LOL ha.... I have had people say that the carb may be over kill...but after many many hours of test and tune I finally got the right mix, also remember that I'm running a 70 head that is ported on both sides. The larger valves and combustion chamber really flow the Mix. Also the piston Im using in the Big Bore is domed for the 70 head, I heard that the compression is a little higher when you use the Big Bore kit made for a 70 vs. the 50 (Domed piston and Larger Combustion Chamber). Then I had to bump up the main jet from a 82 to a 94. Lots of tweaking, but it runs perfect. Now the gas mileage went from like 100 miles to a tank (stock 50), to about 45 miles and Im on reserve.....but those are some FUN 45 miles. :YEAH
