Re: BMX Bars on a fiddy?

you need to get a upper tripple clamp that will hold BMX bars or weld some on , or be creative as you can at home.

other than that, just pick a set of bars that feel good to you and mount em.

you can get an upper tripple alone at http://www.50stunt.com/triple_clamp.html

if your buying bmx bars go with an S@M product.........best bars ever.........had them on a nice race bike and they took a lot of abuse........i also think they would fit well on a fiddy

yea mike and I both have just welded our bmx bars on.... you have to buy a bigger control kit.. (throttle, brake lever, and extended cables)... most bmx bars are 7/8", and your stock trottle is 1/2"... hince the need for a new one... .... you really have no need for buying a upper clamp.... welding them on is a hell of alot stronger but I guess it looks a bit ghetto.... ..... it is deff the cheaper way to bigger bars on.... works well....

, if my homemade upper triple ever brakes i'm welding them biatches on for sure. but again , i'm just cheap, and grew up ghetto so i don't really care, i welded my headlight on and it's held up great

as for controls, i used bicycle brake levers and found an old kawasaki streetbike throttle for under 20 bucks, rerouted the front brake and throttle a little and it works fine
