Ok just this week along SOMEONE, not sure who, has called the cops on me 4 times!! I'm about to go ride again and I'm sure they will be here again! I'm not sure what the big deal is! I'm out front of my house on a road that has NO traffic. I'm not around any kids or cars and bike is not that loud. Yesterday the cop actually stopped and gave me a hard time but I just said "I'm not sure what you are talking about?" Well, he finally left and I went back to stunting! Anyone else have this problem?? Peace out

 

I feel ya bro. Other day we were riding in this church parking lot at the end of my friends street. There were like 4 kids sittin on the curb watchin and we were just practicing stuff. Well gets time to leave so i ride my big bike home and my friend starts WALKING the fiddy back on the sidewalk. Cop rolls up all slow and starts telling how if he catches us riding hes gonna impound the "pocketbike" and all this stuff. And that its illegal to ride ANYWHERE in the city including private property such as parking lots. He gives us a pamplet that says the definitions of what a pocketbike, scooter, etc. is. Turns out in NE my fiddy isn't a mini bike.... its a motorcyle. I'm gonna look into registering it cause that would just be too fun to roll around town! and say FTP every chance i get!

No, my neighbors closest to me are afraid of me, but they actually live off a different street. The people across the street are pretty cool, some old guy related to them (dad, grandpa, uncle, i duno) died so they inhereted the house. The 3 brothers sold their houses and live there and they got a ton of cool ****. They have 2 bobcats, a GSXR1000, Hayabusa, Harley Davidson V-rod, shelby cobra, and a ton of other cool ****. The other person across the street is some old woman and she could care less. Otherwise I have no neighbors.

 

ha neighbors!....i live on a double sided street and theres this old lady that gets extreemly mad if i go on "her" side.............but see the funny thing is that i do it any ways cuz this lady is so freaginb slow byn the time she gets out of her car im gone.........its more amusing to me to see how many times i can make her get out of her car lol...she never learns

My street is great! (except) this one donkey who thinks he owns the whole damn block. This guy actually got in a fight with my other neigbor and hit him in the face with the handle end of his garden hose, now he is on probation and was ordered to go to counseling by the city, LMAO. Everyone else alwasy comes up to me when they see me and ask if I will make more noise when I pass his house. It's great, if he calls the cops like he usually does they dont come for like a half hour.

i just bought a house.....so we'll see what the neigbors think when i bust out the fiddy....lol

 

When they call the cops on me I say "whats the problem officer? Do you need to see my license and registration?" ok here it is..........

Ha Ha!! I figured out who it is!! I road all day today no cops!! The couple about 6 house down from me gets home. Well, they send there 6 year old son out to talk to me. He comes out and goes haven't the cops come by. I said Yep. Then he was like well, you probably should stop riding the bike then. Then he told me to put it in my bedroom as decoration. LOL SOOOOO I decided to be a good neighbor and put the bike in my room!! Ya right!!

 

i have cool neighbors. older guy next to me who thinks im a hoot. single lady who could care less. i live on a cool street i guess?

 

I live in a pretty cool neighborhood, but there is an older couple across the street and a few houses down that call the on me. I try and be respectful and not ride late at night, but now the knows about me and they roll by the house on a regular basis to check up on me.
That's what I get for buying a house in a fairly well to do neighborhood. THe up side to this is that their is a sheriff that lives in the house next to me that could care less and the younger neighbors like to drink and party :YEAH :YEAH

 

where do u get ur insurance from and how much is it? I just found out i can register mine here. I think i'm gonna just so i don't get hassled.

 

johnnyj, let me know what it costs ya to "street legal " your fiddy....i just came back from about 10 mile ride to a party at a friends and didn't have any trouble, i even stopped to look like i was working on my 50 when i came up to a cop at an intersection....he just pulled away, even looked him in the eye and he smiled and laughed. Buu\t i'd love to have it 100% legit incase i am stopped at some point

i already have a headlight, and could add a brakelight / tailight easy.

we still need to hook up and ride seeing how your only 40 minutes away tops

but to keep from thread jacking...my neighbors are COOL, i onehanded wheely /wave at them and they love me..i live on a busy 4 lane road and ride on the sidewalk all day in front of my house when i'm bored. got really old pple on both sides of me but i'm just real nice to them like shoveling their walks and chit in the winter
