I put a uni filter and cut out the spark arrestor. Do I need to adjust the carb?

it runs alright, but it feels like it could run better. What do I have to adjust. (needle height?, air fuel mixture?)

 

Ok I raised the needle to the 2nd to the last notch and adjusted the air fuel mixture. It still bogs alittle when I hit the gas. Should I go to the last notch? Help. Other then the bog in the beginning it revs smothly. Any input?
