I-Shock/Hydrodynamics

Brad out there seems to be a good guy. I have dealt with a couple of small issues with my non-res rear shock and he has had things to my door really fast.

I just got off the phone with him. I ordered a retro fit kit for the shock that gives you metal bushings that let you use the stock bolts instead of the original ones that came with it. The stock bolts are an exact fit to the holes in the frame for the mounting points. The nylon washers that originally came with it, that fit in the larger frame holes, are trashed.

If any of you guys are thinking of a rear shock I have to say go with the I-Shock. There is a lot to be said for the service you get after the sale. Plus it is plush as all hell.

BTW, he also said the shock,if ridden hard should be rebuilt every 6 months. I am not going to worry about it. Mostly street work here. $60 to rebuild. You ship it to them, they turn it around quickly.

Re: I-Shock/Hydrodynamics

i called them regaurding my blown out shock. said it was $30 to rebuild and should be done every 6 months as well. that sounds rediculous to me. you buy a shock for over $200 and its shot in 6 months. i dunno, im strictly street as well and mine is done for. i just took it apart today and changed the oil but im sure its gonna just leak right back out. i love the shock though. it is plush as could be.
