Mounting a video camera on a fiddy?
Mounting a video camera on a fiddy?
Well since it looks like my camera isn't going to support a helmet cam i'm looking for a way to tape our round town fiddy cruises. I was thinking about either drilling a hole threw the bars and just sticking a bolt threw to screw into the camera. Or welding on a plate and making a real mount for the camera. Anyone ever mounted a camera on a fiddy and can give me some tips?
Re: Mounting a video camera on a fiddy?
i made one that mounts to the triple frame out of 1/4" mild steel with a mini tripod mount...so we can pan and move the camera around and not have a single stationary shot we mostly use it to film big bikes but it works great
it mounts with rubber bushings mounts to the tripple clamp with 10mm nut and bolts for easy access removal ot the mount the only prob was i had to drill 2 holes in my tripple
im getting a cnc cut billet mount made almost to the same specs as the one we previously made but this time with a clamp type lock for the mount
i dont have any pics but its easy to make if you ahve any fabrication skills and cost me all of about 10 dollars for the parts to make it
