Aftermarket plastics ?

Just as the title says, anybody got any good info on plastic kits-04-05 CRF style.
I'm looking for Black just don't know if the stuff on ebay is quality or junk from the clone knock off bikes.
Any input is welcomed- brands or sellers that anyone has had good luck with.

Thanks

Re: Aftermarket plastics ?

I bought a set of black plastics off ebay for $79. I'm happy with them. I will admit they are from china and they are thinner then stock honda plastics, no doubt about that. But at the same time I think they are good enough for the cost. I personally don't think a set of plastics are worth $150 plus shipping. Thats just me. I paid $80 and I am satisfied with what I got for that price. Here is who I bought mine from:

Thanks Fuscat, that's who I was going to get a Black set from. Did you put graphics on yours or run them bare? If you used new graphics how well did they fit?
How well have they held up under riding conditions and stunting/crashing?
:YEAH

Re: Aftermarket plastics ?

2Bit cant help you there lol I will be running them bare (I think) but the key words are "will be" I have not yet installed them. Still in the box. I didn't see anypoint in getting them on this winter. Just nasty out and not worth the hastle. Im gonna wait a bit to put them on I think.. Probably till spring.

Comparing say the tank shrouds tho side by side they are identicle to stock. I don't see why any graphics wouldn't apply right. Like I said they are noticibly thinner plastic but worth the price I paid in my opinion.. Not like half as thin as stock or anything i'd say about 1/5 thinner or so just enought to tell.

Re: Aftermarket plastics ?

Thanks for the honest reply, sounds like those plastics will work great for me. Like you, I can't justify spending $150.00 for new replacements. As long as my graphics go on good it'll be
