Question

Hey guys
I'm going to be driving down through New Hampshire this summer, and I've been looking for a place that does custom fiberglass work, because I need replacement bodywork for my 500EX. Does anyone know of any good places that do custom bodywork for sportbikes?
Thanks!

the ex500 is going to be hard to find any sort of after market stuff besides race plastic....As for some shop designing something for you and fabricating it good luck I have never heard of any place any where......I guess it really depends on what you want to do....My opion, don't spend the money on the EX. it would not be worth it in the end....wait for a bigger bike with more of a demand and pimp the hell out of that..ie: polish, chrome, paint, whatever...

yeah I want a bigger bike, but my dad owns my dealership, so I can't really go anywhere else, and and of the salesmen know that if they sell me something dad doesn't want me to get they'll be in big ****, and he doesn't want me to have anything bigger than a 500 until i'm, like, 25... so i'm kinda screwed in that regard. plus all i'm really looking to get is a different tail section (with no passenger seat)

well in that case..... don't change the EX too much...race tail is cool but remember that will elimitinate any passengers, you may want to talk to your dad about maybe upgrading to say a SV650 which is still a smaller bike (650cc V-twin) but you will find you can do a little more with it and pimp it out better.....ie: race platics, rear-sets, polish frame, clip-ons....etc..

yeah, i'm not a big fan of the SV...
but not being able to have a passenger is really a plus for me, cuz I know my friends would harass me to take 'em places, and this way they know they can't... by the time i'm ready for passengers i'll have a bigger bike anyway... i'm not really lookin at an EX as a bike to pimp out, i'm waiting for a bit, gonna beat the **** outta it, then buy a 600RR or R6
