Don't really land them wheelies that hard but who knows.. Hope'n for NO BLOWN OUT HEAD BEARING!!! We'll soon see!!

Done..

Wow! The lower steer head nut needs 36lbs of torque and not only did it have NONE, it was backed out at min or 6 threads. While tight'n it up, the bearing actual clunk'd back into place as it was out of the cavity where is belongs!! Damn.. Seems the Scotts actually covered up the problem by being in the way (line of sight) and also by dampening the effect of the loose steering head for a while until last night when it got REALLY BAD! If ya run a Scotts, you might want to take it off every once in a while to check! IMHO

All nice and tight as a frog a$$ now! Ready for 6000 more miles of one wheel'n! :YEAH

Re: Last Night

Now that it's all tight'n down.. We will soon see if there was any damage done to the bearing themselves from being soo soooo soooo loose!

Nice job, I got thinking after we talked and I thought it could be just loose , you don't have that many miles for it to be worn. I bet you will have to be replacing it soon though from all the sick wheelies
What you guna do with all that money you saved? I got some ideas...guys night out. nuddy bar. N.O.S. system. :YEAH or I guess you could buy the wifie something special

hmmm ... Good question ... Think I might grease one of the guys a Yamaha's palm for the idea. Was not the easiest thing to do and without all the right tools, it would never have gotten done.. Dealer wanted $60.00 to do what I just did. Now we will see how much damage I did once I start beating the crap outta it again. :YEAH
