Anyone ride'n in SoFla today?

 

let me know, i might know a guy with an extra caliper in palm bay.

 

Just got a pm from him, I guess he just sent it out today.

 

my bracket should be here monday. i started to try stoppies today, there hard.

 

I don't have a damper so I only come in about 40mph. I haven't made much progress yet.

 

how far and high are you getting?

 

****...... I can get em pretty high after I slow down to about 15 mph.

I don't know, about 60ft.

 

I used to roll about 100 on my old 929. Back when I was stupid, I'd come in about 70 with no damper.

My plan is to learn bp at slow speeds. Then once I can afford a damper, maybe I'll be able to pull off a couple hundred feet coming in hot, maybe.....lol

 

the only thing i never want to happen when im riding is to flip a stoppie, thats all i ask. i dont think my ethiopian *** could survive i would be crushed. i keep getting my front tire locking up at like 30mph and it pisses me off. i dont care about distance i just wanna do 180s.

 

Yeah. I'm not really worried about distance too much as of now. Just nice high bp stoppies, and then maybe start working on 180's. Distance will come later i hope.

 

if my stoppies dont improve by the time sarasota comes around im gonna be laughed out of the spot, thats how good im doing . and i havent even worked on footbrake let alone no handers.

 

At the rate I'm going I don't think I'll even get to ride before the Throwdown.

 

I guess if I get my chain on I can bleed my foot brake and ride without a HB until my caliper gets here.
I should be able to put the 4 piston caliper on without haveing to take the wheel off again right....................

 

if you already have the bracket on then no you wont have to take the wheel off.

Cool, thats what I thought. I might be able to get a foot brake session in tomorrow then.

i dont think f4is come stock with those, im gonna have to search and see if they sell an aftermarket foot pedal kit.
