The Florida BullShit Thread
Re: The Florida BullShit Thread
There are more than 2. Try the pre load on top and the compression damp. to full stiff. Work your way out from full stiff a 1/4 turn at a time. P.S. they are both on top.
Re: The Florida BullShit Thread
I want them as stiff as possible. But there is only one screw at the top of eacy fork and one at the bottom. I tightened them all the way.
Re: The Florida BullShit Thread
Those are fluid dampeners only, they only control the rate of compression / rebound and not the tension or collapse travel of the springs. I know more about MX suspension than street but in MX if you want the forks to NOT bottom out you replace the internal spring with a much heavier one and put in thicker oils, new seals, wipers, o-rings etc.. and adjust the dampeners. Maybe look into that?

Just because I can get financed on a new bike don't mean I'm rich. I usually have to pick the least important bill at the end of the month to not pay on time because I won't have any money in the account.
Is it the 19mm hex thats directly under the adjuster you can use a flat head on?? I'm clueless.
