But i just spoke to Shane McCoy and he explained that because of his contract with McCoys and R1-forum and R6-forum, he can only ride R1 or R6. Wouldnt make sense to sponsor him by to Yamaha Forums and he ride something else.. So pretty much he sold the Gixx and bought a nice 06 R6...
brad from warped bought it off him to show in the store the bike was actually a biker build off bike too from what i hear so bill got that gangster blinged out r6 in return

We leave for Vegas September 12th. They will be taping for a couple more months but the show hasn't signed a network yet. So who knows.

i was told that becasue of his sponsorship with McCoy's and their relationship with Yamaha, Bill was not allowed to ride that Gixxer or any other bike other than a Yamaha in any show or competition... is that so?

i heard the same thing. it was the sponsorship with r1.com and r6.com. it would be a huge conflict of interest.

I also bet $100 that McCoy will win. 1/4 Mill is alot to dump into a bike for one show.
At least we'll take second in style.
