well we who ride f4i know that it is a awsome bike...but i just got done seting mine up. and tell you what if your bike doesnt seem right, runs alitle unsteady, misses, back fires, doesnt feel like its kicking on all cylinders all the time, has a litle bog when you in a circle then try this.

i took mine down for about 40 min took my time and cleaned the plugs just soaked them in gas and used a wire brush sand paper might due. wiped out the air box, dusted off the stock filter, took off the throtle bodies and sprayed them with carb cleaner-all over inside and out-, re adjusted the throtle cables, and i used a 0-town secret by puting duck tape on one side of the intakes so less air gets in the airbox. and tell you what this thing now runs 100% no more bog, its got the power, sounds better when im running of revlimiter,lol hell now i think it looks beter..

so if you having any running problems a litle cleaning should do the trick..

 

Also try getting the throttle bodies synched

 

duct taping one hole shut has been a well known trick up hear for a while. another thing to check for is that you didnt kink any fuel lines. stupid yes , but it happenes to us all sometime

 

what does putting tape over one hole do. does this do anything for other bikes. i have a gsxr750

 

or just buy a 636 here it comes.......

 

ducr tap does nuthing....i tried it....for a whole session, no difference on idle, circle, engine brake anything, its pointless, all the other stuff sounds like a good idea.....wat do u mean synched the throttle bodies, how do u do that?

 

any certified mechanic should be able to do the synching, it sharpens the throttle response and just makes the overall power aloooooooot smoother....... thats just what i hear though

well i tried all that sht on puffys bike cuz it sounded like a buell. yea it sucked. and after all that it still sucked. so i changed out the throtle bodies and now its fine runs like a champ..

 

it was probably the fuel pressure regulator.... thats why ****** sounded like **** for so long, try just swapping the little unit that has a hose going to the tank and is held onto the fuel rail by 2 8mm bolts

 

ill have to bring it back and try switching them out. it ran just like a harley...i donty know how those team extreme guys did it.

do they have hand breaks on those buels???

Yeah I know what you mean about the fuel line that sh@t happened to me after I dented my tank and I though maybe I f@cked up something but all it was is the fuel line pinched
