Do I just need a bigger video card or more memory or what?

When I try to edit them the video plays super slow, watching them once on vimeo or youtube it's alright?!

I got a contour hd and right now I can't even edit anything because it's so slow..

















I wasn't sure where to post this so if it can't be in here could you move it to the right section instead of deleting? thanks

 

its best to use a quad 4 processor with at least 4 gigs of ram !!!

 

u can use my comp..ive got a few new editing programs too

 

It also depends on what programs u are using to edit them and or what programs u are using to view them. For instance, i use PowerDirector to edit all my HD videos. They play perfect on everything i watch them with. Except when i try to watch them in quicktime, it tends to want to lag and skip. Never had a problem playing them on anything else....my 2 cents

Ya I was just using the cheap software that came with the camera.
