Bomber Weekend - Plan Bee, Nordic Stunt Championship 'N' Stuff (Finland)

Going somewhere that never gets dark is pretty damn odd - especially when you're trying to sleep. Yep, Finland, being so closs to the north pole, doesn't have anything resembling night time during the summer

What they do have, unfortunately, are insects that can eat a man alive quicker than piranahs after a two week fast

Anyway, the Bomber Weekend, organised by Bomber Magazine, features (among other things) a stretch of track where anyone can go and stunt, live bands, strippers, custom bike show, alcohol (which is rather more popular than some of its appreciaters can handle ) and the Nordic Stunt Championship

A wee bit of what went down over the weekend is now online. Hope you you enjoy it...

Bomber Weekend

If something looks cool then, thanks to the 'net, it ain't gonna take long for people the other side of the world to start doing it, too

I think there'll always be differences between Euro and US stunters (although the US style is gaining ground very quickly as it's just so damn enjoyable to watch), but I like the fact the stunt world's getting smaller 'cos it's getting bigger

Those of us in Europe have been riding so-called 'cheater bikes' since the beginning of the eighties

We ride 'em 'cos we like 'em and for no other reason - and certainly not because it makes stunting easier...

Unbelievably we've had over 2,000 people download the Bomber vid over the last two days

Now, while it's rather nice to know there are that many people who want to see our stuff , it does mean that we've hit our bandwidth allowance for the month already

The Bomber file is, however, still available from:
http://horrible.demon.co.uk/videos/bomber.zip

but the IQ 18 site'll now be down until next month...
