havent watched this in a while...so here it is. Right and Left drifting racer style, aka, opening up the circle and accelerating.

this is pretty much the first time riding the RR...i learned to drift on the 636 a bit before.

teach do you use any brake when yo drift? like slow down the speed when you drift in circle's`?

i'll use it to slow it down going into the rear tire skid, but after that, no...finger isnt even on it. in the sequence of wide right hand sitdown burnouts, that is using the front brake...wide and fast like that on the front brake is very touchy, makes the front wanna wash so you gotta be reaaaal smooth.

as far as old...thats a little more than 1 calendar year footage wise. first footage after 4 months off for a broken back, and 2 months off before that for a sweet new england winter.

isht changes fast these days :YEAH

same thing i tell everyone:

skid it in, lean it over, stick your foot out and dump the clutch. if you slide out, then use less gas...if the bike wants to hightsid then use more gas.

when in doubt use more gas...spinning out is no big deal compared to highsiding.

then drive the bike out of the circle with the gas.

lean in and forward as much as possible

 

the vid doesn`t begin to give it justice,i seen that **** in person in person in va this past weekend.him & e-dub where actin a fool miss`n each other many times by a foot or less at about 60mph.it was by far the sickest **** i `ve ever seen.

key to drifting is the tire and surface period other than that it's easy. i want to see sick drift's on a qualifier and sticky pavement sic vid though.
