Supermoto Vid - Mental Militia

As winter's finally coming to an end in the UK, the Militia were out this Sunday trying to blow away some of the cobwebs and get back into stunting

The video of our trying to remember how to ride is called: Basic Training

Hey, we're ****, but we have fun... :p

There's a couple of KTM LC4s, a Husaberg 650, KTM 520, Yamaha YZ426F, Suzuki DRZ and a couple of Honda XRs (both 400s IIRC)

When it comes to racing there's nothing in the world like supermoto. I just hope it keeps its anarchistic attitude now that the FIM have got involved...

I just wanted to say a big

to everyone who liked the vid

There's more road-bike stuff coming soon (when our bandwidth is back to normal) from the Streetfighters Show, that includes two-up crossed-up wheelies

what do you need to do to setup a YZ450F for the street? Can you get a headlight and break light kit for it?

I don't know what the rules are over there about converting an off-road bike for road use, but...

Wheels are pretty easy if you buy a Talon (or similar) kit as they'll just bolt straight in. You can either find a set of calipers that aren't too deep from a road bike or go to someone like Berringer or Brembo and get 'motard specific ones. Which just leaves lights...

The actual light units are simple to source - Acerbis, UFO or any other off-road bodywork supplier do enduro headlights and tail light/reg plate kits. As for the actual lighting circuit itself - I'm pretty certain the WR lighting coil bolts straight onto the YZ. If not then you can buy lighting coils that bolt straight on, although I don't know any specific dealers in the US

Oh, and those two-up crossed-up wheelies ... are on the rail

I had my 2 stroke ktm street legal (still has a plate but not set up for street right now)

all it had was a head light, tailight, 1/2ass brake light. fake turn signals, no horn, no battery.

that f-cker was a good ole time

when I get some cash I'm going to supermoto it if it doesn't sell soon
