I joined to get the hell out of where I was and college money..... Not for money (pay check wise) , not for respect, not even for love of the country. I have learned more as well as grown more and have a new respect for my country it after 9/11 and being in for 4 years. Most people don't join the military because the love of it, (a few do) most do it because of situations they are faced with at that time in their lives.... allot of people in the military are afraid to get out because of the propaganda they feed you while you are in.... You wont make it.... There are no jobs.... Here you are guarantied a job and food and a place to live...... Where else will you get health care like this...... I heard all of it. I had alot of friends that stayed in because of fear....... 33 Million??? SEE YA Uncle Sam..... Basicaly what I'm trying to say is you can't judge a person with out walking in there shoes..... or maybe I'm just nieve...

 

I'd bail, he came here (Georgia) on Vacation from I think Germany or Korea and him and a Buddy won the lotto, you can get discharged if you have 200k in the bank or more.
I'd leave in a second if I had that much money, why? Heh, this place sucks.

 

It's actually in the interest of the gov't to discharge lotto winners
