I've been on here looking at what some people have written and it really pisses me off, I've been in 8 years now, I'm not some gung ho live by the ucmj, but god damn if u hate the military, hate ur job, ur life right now get out, everyone knows the ways of it dont be a p*ssy about it, get out and stop talking sh*t to everyone about how the military was ur worst decision and u would never do it again. I personally hate serving with people like that they bring the morale down where ever you are. now Im not saying that the military is the best thing in the world cause its not, hell I get frustrated alot but ive done more in 8 years than a lot of people get to do in there lives. and right now with the war I know it sucks ive been over there and Im going back in less than 2 months but suck it up quit being a b*tch and make the best of it.

The people that b*tch are also the first to b*tch when in uniform they dont get the utmost respect when in reality they dont respect the uniform themselves that they where.

But i always wanted to. No matter where you go or what you do, there will be people who complain. That's just what they like to do.

 

now thats original "navy ***", i didnt start this to bash people or get into with anyone thats not it, but u dont know me or what i do for the navy . i dont know u nor do i want to start talking sh*t over a computer to u, its pointless. if ur getting out good for u, have fun, but dont think u r high and mighty over a computer screen and a keyboard. sorry I like what I do and dont appreciate people that bring down what me and other people have accomplished in the military, if u want to keep coming back with little comments that fine be a badass over the computer. maybe its what makes u feel better.

yeah, sorry about that i just get frustrated when i feel that people sh*t on the military cause i have had a couple of good friends pass away in iraq and also the guy that taught me everything died on 9/11 in the pentagon so I just don't like hearing that the military sucks, i mean there are people in the military that take it to far and make it miserable for the lower chain of enlisted personal and then i can see where some people come from but its not all military people, if i attacked u, sorry cause i dont know the situation u have been in for the last 8 years, but also the military in a whole i think does a lot for people that really have no were else to go. Do u get what I am saying? I know u obviously dont enjoy the military but i dont think if someone talked sh*t to you about what u have done for the last 8 years u would appreciate it, thats what im getting at, anyone who can sit and listen to the military as a whole (and not just there own comand) be bashed and not get some what adjitated should honestly get out. I put the cheers thing cause im really not on here to get into with u just voicing my aggrivation.

 

it's a small Marine Corps and we all know guys that have died in Iraq bro. I was having some problems on the rifle range on qual day when i was a LCpl. A Staff Sgt coached me on every shot and soon there after i qualed. Anyway he was killed during the invasion. He had kids and a wife, and i remember he rode a ZX6. I feel bad sometimes that i never went to Iraq, like i let my brothers down. I know ***** bad over there i've spoken to Marines who were there. They tell me stories that i can't fukken believe. **** i can't imagine. But i still have the prior service recruiters #. Sometimes the only thing keeping me here is cuz i have a small concept of the misery over there.

 

Well bro what you dont realize is sometimes people have those bad days and to let it out they vent on here. And no one is the same. We all signed our names on that line and it may be great for you but suck for the next man. No matter what dont bash on them them b/c they need to vent about there job. You have B*tched about your job as well so someone may think the same about you when you did. If they hate it let them be. All you have to know is you serve your country well and do a damn good job at it.

well this became a pretty good thread. To be honest i remember bein in the field for a couple weeks at a time and hearin just about everyone complain at some point. whether it was 5 degrees or 125 i always tried to laugh at the misery.

 

kawistunter, i know what ur saying and when i posted this thread it was one of those days where i just had found out another good friend of mine had passed away and i was reading people say the military sucks and i couldnt take it, my emotions had gotten the best of me, i have *****ed before because of how i had gotten sh*t on but i have also taken getting sh*t on and made the best out of it. so what i was trying to get out of this was not just the typical *****ing cause a lot of us do it, if u generally hate the military and never find anything good out of it, get out, but if its just the typical *****ing ive done it, so i dont get aggrivated at that, this was just to the guys who are sh*t bags, generally hate it and never try to do anything good while they are serving there time, does everyone get what im saying?

 

good point. It's unfortunate things are that way. I am not trying to make excuses for those people, nor do I agree with haters. But maybe the people who ***** are the ones who their family made them join. Hopefully at least

 

hey....i just wanted to throw my in.... I agree that if people are gonna *****, they are gonna *****, but do it on your own time. instead of singing in the shower, waiting for American Idol to call, lean up against the back wall away from the water and let it out. People in all branches of the military have a hard enough time as it is believing in what we do, what with all the liberal tree hugging communist ******* out there putting us down every chance they get.
Ive been to both Afghanistan and Iraq with the 82nd ABN DIV, and have enough memories to last me a lifetime. Ive lost good friends and have made some unlikely ones. I cant ever see myself wearing any other work uniform than the one i put on everyday. But i understand that its not for everybody. But no matter how much you want to ***** about it, you will never do anything like what you have done in the military again, and when you get out and go to college, just remember that while you're *****ing to your frat buddies about how bad the military sucked, your GI Bill check is coming in the mail at the end of the month.

I wanna tell u that I would share a drink and stories with u anyday but I hope that if u have to go back that u come back safely, well for that matter anyone on here that has to go back I hope that u guys come home!
