Its the exact same reason you rash your bike. Its for the love. Obviously if you stunt your bike stuff gets broken you need to fix it. You spend money on what you like.

As for economical what do you think they do for cars in japan? These would be our cameros and mustangs. The super cars (vettes vipers ect)would be there supras rx-7s ect.

As you probable didnt notice the motor in my car does not belong in there.. Its a JDM Prelude engine. It was shipped from japan. due to them having strict laws on their vehicles anything having 40k miles must be dismantled or exported. They do not have the emissions laws we have here..... for their motors are hotter because they do not use the emission garbage we have.

This motor has 200 hp stock. Thats not bad considering what vettes and stangs have and they have twice the amount of cylinders. If i were to spray or boost this I could easily make 300+ hp. If I invested around 2k in putting in sleeves, pistons, connecting rods, You could boost 20+ psi and make 500+ hp. Yeah obviously Im not stupid. you can take a mustang spend 2k on it and run low 12's or 11's!

The reason I choose the import scene is that its diffrent. Sure their are the ricekids who have a universal exhaust and APC stickers on there car and they think they are fast. Same goes for the redneck kids, their hooker header sticker in their back window.. means they mean business and there 1987 monte carlo is BAAAD..

Now as for Americans they are finally realizing the Japanese are much smarter when it comes to the design of the motor. Look at the new truck im buying. 2004 Colorado.. Its 5 cylinders with variable valve timing. variable valve timing is very effiecent and makes great power. Honda had that tech 10 years ago.

Hey man A lot of people get there motors through Hmotorsonline.com As for who would swap it in.. I do not know. You didnt state what year it was or model. It depends how sick you want to go. If you had a hatch you could easly post low 13's with my motor The h22 and that would be an all motor car. however its a lot of work!! Most people will go with a b16. found in civic si's or b18's found in integra gsr's! It just depends how much you are willing to spend and if you are good with mechanics. I did everything on my car myself.

Re: F/S H22 Accord

nice car. i am not usually a fan of hondas, but i must say that that one is clean and pretty tasteful. although i am not a fan of the shogun body kit, it still looks alright on that car. the new engine looks real clean, too. good luck selling the car! (i'm trying to sell my '91 nissan 300ZX right now and it's a pain trying to sell it during the winter when it's not a winter car!)
