Jordan in town???

According to published reports and an eyewitness on the scene, basketball legend Michael Jordan visited motorcycle parts distribution house Parts Unlimited yesterday. Parts Unlimited/Le Mans is one of the largest motorcycle parts and accessories firms in the US and is located in Janesville, Wisconsin, just a few hours up the road from Jordan's home in Chicago.

In a published report, Parts Unlimited's Jeff Fox says that Jordan spent about three hours at the Parts' facility yesterday, and he further described Jordan as a "... a huge motorcycle enthusiast, which a lot of people don't know. He has several sport bikes and wanted to come up and see our operation."

Jordan is said to be on the verge of launching a Superstock and Supersport race team with amateur rider Montez Stewart on Yamahas.

Parts Unlimited has been a sponsor on many different roadrace teams over the last few years, and currently sponsors the Ducati Austin effort.

Re: Jordanin town???

Rumors of his getting into racing are flying all over the CCS board as well as a few others that I've seen. There was even a claimed picture of Jordan on a bike at Blackhawk Farms...with everyone posting 'I cannot confirm nor deny' about the picture. This could be a VERY interesting season for the CCS people if things pan out.
