Re: best 9mm handgun

Best ripoff: Taurus, hi point....... for 200 bucks you get a gun that fires. And is accurate to 10 feet......... Why wouldn't some crackhead want it? Don't they put the barrel to the gut in the movies anyways?! LOL

Most expensive ripoff: beretta M9 (gov. issue) piece of garbage with a weak frame..........

If I had to have a 9mm, I def would NOT get a glock..... I don't need a gun I can bury, set on fire, shove up my ***, etc. and still fire off a clip afterwards.... I need a gun with a safety...... And more accuracy.......

I would have to say that there are several picks of the litter

CZ-75 for sheer durability, great price, and very nice accuracy..

The Walther p99 and ppks get my diverse vote....... Very light, and reliable......

Personally, I use a .40 instead of 9. My CZ-40 is awesome!

You and YSR don't get along? He's been giving out red blox with my name in it........ It's happened to about 10 people..... I contacted NAGS about it, because I couldn't check into it, but as a MOD he can see who leaves blox...... Check the open forum, NAGS E Scolded him for it. I've never had a problem with you man. p.s. This whole time typing those nuts have been swinging in my face. I feel sorry for whoever's nuts those are..... Pretty non-photogenic........

Yeah, so go bitch slap YSRRIDER for it. Wasn't me bro.

Re: best 9mm handgun

PPK/S is a .380 first off and you can buy a GLOCK 9 mil for pretty dang reasonable and they do have pretty good accuracy! Just my 2 cents.

Oh and XD's are ****! Great gun.

You want accuracy, buy a 1911 with a match barrel in it or the new XDm that have the match barrels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:YEAH :YEAH

most popular service pistols (glock, smith m+p, kahr, h+k p2000) don't have external safeties because 1. the holsters for these pistols totally cover the trigger and 2. quicker and simpler to draw and fire in a high stress situation.

stock barrelled glocks are able to shoot 3" groups at 50 ft plenty accurate for a defensive pistol.

I'm not in a form of service anymore, therefore have no use for a smoothed *** on a gun. GIMMEE safety! LOL.

What type of ammo was used for that? And have you ever shot a glock in less than perfect light, on the move, or at a rate of more than 20rpm? I hated it. Just my personal experience. The only one I would consider would be the compact .45 for the knockdown power. Plus it was damn near as accurate as a full size 9. (Cheap ammo in both, btw)

Everyone has a preferrence...... I still love my CZ!

check out the gun mags that test them they always group 3" or less from a rest at 50 ft.

yup and I was even able to hit what I put the sights on, tons of local and federal cops have done ok with them too

If you are within 10 feet of someone shooting at them with a HiPoint, you can always throw the gun and hit someone in the head with it once you empty the clip!

Just because it doesn't have a safety switch that you have to manually flip, doesn't mean it doesn't have a safety! They actually have more than one built in! To each their own, tho! I know people who love the way my Glock and XDs shoot, but won't own one because the safety and hammer are not visible. I guess it's a good thing they make different types of guns! It's just a matter of what you are comfortable with!

Personally, I think my XD9 shoots like dream. It seems pretty accurate for a gun without a visible safety!

SOMETIMES issues with guns and inaccuracy have more to do with condition and care of the gun as well as user ability! Other times, it's just crap out of the box.

Re: best 9mm handgun

Why wouldn't you want a gun you can bury and set on fire and drop in a bucket of water and still pick it up and fire??? that makes absolutely no sense... And as for glocks being not accurate you should go to the range a little more and practice if you think that... XD's are bad *** and you should really look into magnum reserch baby eagle one of the most accurate hand guns I have ever put my hand around....For anyone who doesn't know about FNH.com look at the FNP 9mm and .40 they are going for $479.00 for the all black and 499.00 for the bitone

wats ur opinions and why????

I have a 9mm. Works dandy for me. I have always shot better with a .45. I was an expert shooter in the military with a M4.
