Re: best 9mm handgun

I like the XD, although I haven't got to shoot one yet. I think it looks sick.
If I were getting a 9, that would probly be my choice.

Re: best 9mm handgun

All three of these pistols are awesome!!!!!!!!! The thing it will boil down to is the money you want to spend and also which one fits in your hand the best. The XD comes with all the extras, but I have a 45 XD and I really don't even use any of the other stuff, although it is nice to have it there incase I were wanting to use it.

Peace Justin

A double action only is good for carry because many double action autos do not have a seperate safety to forget to click off when you need it.

Drawback is the trigger pull is a lot heavier.

Wait I fucked that up. Single actions normally don't have an external safety. Double actions do, but they give you the option of carrying
cocked and locked".

My H&K can be configured in single or double action with or without a decocking lever. I am sure other maker's guns have this ability as well. Mine is the right hand, double action, with a decocking lever configuration.

XD's are the ****. Glocks aren't a bad gun, but they are overhyped by hollywood and rappers. There are better guns out there and in the case of the XD they are cheaper. An XD.45 is on my list to buy after I got to try out my friend's.

I know, we have talked about the XD's on a few occasions. The XD .40 is probably what we are gonna go with.

The royal "we"?

I think an XD.45 is the best home defense handgun.
I think my H&K .40 is a good all around home/ travel piece, but a little to big for evey day carry IMHO.
