kill switch problems

i just bought a used bike, and the kill switch was there, but the button had been ripped of. im trying to dicide whether to fix it or just get a new one. what do u guys think?

Feel like Im giving you a lesson in 2 strokes with all the answers Ive given you.
No real point in a kill switch, can just put your foot over the exhaust for the same effect!
