Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

if you are not running headlights or no front harness just cut the red and the greeen on oposite sides of the plug that goes to the front harness and put them together

or if you do have lights just cut the 3 wires going to the tip and put the outside wires together

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

If you have full fairings just remove the windscreen look just behind the instrument cluster for a small black box with 3 wires one red, one green and the other is white going to it (tip over sensor) then cut the tip over box off tie red to green and leave the white taped off. I did mine this way since I figured I wouldn’t need the tip over sensor again I just took the box out all together through the spot just under the forward section of the windscreen. This is how I have mine hooked up and I never had any problems with the bike dieing out on me after I removed the tip over and crossed my wires.

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

ok is this the tip over sensor( SEE PIC )? If so I just cut all wires and tie red and green together and leave white taped off? This won't affect the running of this bike at all if I do cut wires?

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

i did that to mine and for some reason it didnt work and niether did my bike... hahaha... bike wouldnt start anymore...

i did it gangsta style.... i cracked open the bottom of the case, let the water leak out, and then removed that part that swings around inside it... never have to worry about the wiring again
