ate it for the first time a couple of hours ago. my 03' R-1 slid out underneath me while i was cutting her hard to the right to split lanes at a stoplight at the top of a hill.

right frame slider is cut in half, right clip on snapped off, pipe has major dent and is sitting at a level position, tail is practicall7y cracked in half.


minor **** for stunters but i need this bike to get to work.(need to feed junior )


any suggestions on where i can quickly get new/used clip-ons and should i just take a sawz-all to the pipe until i can afford a new one? any ideas about the tail besides duct tape? =P

I feel your pain it's been a few months and i'm still tracking down parts for my first bike wreck... bleh...

 

I rode around for a few months with the right side of my bike rashed and mangled. My blinker was dangling by a few wires...

I road around with blinkers hanging and rash from where I wrecked one side and didn't spend the money to fix it. A few months later I had matching sides. Funny how those things happen. I also found that e-bay was the best place to find parts. Also ronayers.com has some pretty good prices. Good luck.
