Re: 06 cbr 600rr stunt bike?

the throttle is touchy and the bike overall isnt very forgiving.... every bike has its weak points... i ride with some ppl that love them and other that feel it was a waste of time ridin it... its all personal preference... if u set it up strong and try to take care of it thats all u can really do..... i do have a tag relocater kit... full throttle handbrake adaptor.. power commander and powers race rails for that year bike if ur interested

Re: 06 cbr 600rr stunt bike?

they have good power and take a pretty good beating and i think i heard of some people changing the throttle tube to mellow out the twitchy throttle response, the biggest complaint i hear about that bike is the rear peg position is garbage so when i made my omr subcages for that bike i moved the peg position down back and out to give the bike a roomier feel ..

Re: 06 cbr 600rr stunt bike?

They tend to collapse the frame in on the motor and their balance point is high up there. not a terrible bike but some better ones out there, if you have it already i would run it.

Re: 06 cbr 600rr stunt bike?

I stunted a 06 for 2+ years and put many hours on it, had a sick innovations cage on it and never broke a motor. My frame cracked (on the sides under the gas tank) , but $50 in welding solved that problem. It is twitchy but I wouldnt be concerned about the durability.

i have seen a tygershark , si , fi , and powers cage all destroy motors in a 600rr . i rode my 600rr for 2years dropped it hard only twice and the second time it broke the motor. All im saying is that it doesnt take much to mess it up . dont get me wrong the bike was fun but if you are just starting the 03 /06 600rr doesnt stand a chance , and its also a pain in the *** to do a motor swap

Re: 06 cbr 600rr stunt bike?

Properly designed cage wont be a problem on a 600rr

I personally don't like most cages you can purchase for 600rr's
