SOB, what happened, do I suck?

I have been practicing from the longest stuff each day and cannot get it up that high and am getting really crazy. I am going to punch out my own eye with my own fist not to mention hair. I see these 2 guys riding and pulling some wheelies ahead of me. SO naturally I race up to see and talk. All I can do is smile like damn I wish I could do that. Then I use my hand like a wheelie and say can he do it so I can see up close. He busts out this wheelie F'n high as hell and I was like damn this guy is gonna flip. He doesn't and is riding it like nothing. We pull over to this gas station and talk for a bit. He says let me ride your bike real quick. He says you can ride mine. He has a 03 CBR 600 RR.....The sh*t is bad ***. It is light as hell and I can whip that thing all over the place. I love the power band and all. It is a very nice *** bike. Well, we were turning around in this parking lot and go back to the gas station as his buddy was waiting. He says you can bust a wheelie on this. I say are you sure? What about the upper end sprocket in it? He says "F all that sh*t, it can wheelie. " I say can you do it on the way back and not crash. He's like "YEAH, its easy" We start leaving and he pulls that fattest whellie on this F'n bike and it has me go koo koo. I am wondering what the hell am I doing wrong. Then he bust another one. My rear tire was spinning at like 45 then he would get it to grip up and pull it up. We go back to the damn gas station and get his buddy. We take off towards their hotel as they were visiting and were going to ride back in the morning. On the way to the hotel he and the other guy on his F2 were bustin'em out like all hell. I was trying and trying but wouldn't work. After they left I went straight to this bare road and tried and tried. I got so pissed of and tired you guysjust don't know. I need a vdeo for dummies with a manual for that crap. What in the F'n hell am I doin wrong. Damn it. I am going to go to bed after I eat and be in bed at 3:15am. Then wake up at 6:00 or 7:00am and go for another few gas tanks. AHHHHHHHHH
.....This is 100X worse than that damn trials game that that guy put up and that drove me crazy....
Any tips. Also He was clutching my bike to get it up. When I do it I hear this thunk in the transmission. Is this what you hear on yours?

just take your time and keep your cool. You'll get it just keep practicing.

Whatever you do just stay focused, cause when you get fustrated your gonna start pushing your limits.

everyone learns at their own pace, just keep practicing and it will work out for you, and explain your technique more to get a better response

Like Duffman said, a little bit more info on your method would help. Are you just loading up on revs & dumping the clutch? or are you trying to bounce them up?
All the best for your morning session!

Just keep trying! When you get frustrated and tired take a break or try some stoppies. When you get frustrated it just makes it worse. Don't worry it will come to you.

remember to switch techniques.....

what i mean is if something isnt working for you...try a diff method or revise what you are doing....

i promise..... you will scare yourself.... you have to so that you know how far back you can go...

commit to it, go slow, and you will get it

Use the clutch and the left rear peg... and like he said you WILL scare yourself, just be prepared and commit and know what to do if you get too far back. The brake, clutch and lean forward.

Starboyz are cool, but I don't ever think I would pay someone to show me how to wheelie, or endo or anything. Let alone travel out of state just for that.

Its like being a little kid and just taking those training wheels of your bicycle...it was hard at first but you got it eventually.

more people who have this instant want for wheelies need to attend class. or you're likely to get hurt trying. it's cool tho...mreo wrecked bikes for me

go 50mph in 2nd gear stand up accelerate to 55-60mph while your giving it gas bounce the pegs and at the end of the bounce give it alot more gas just never let off the gas its like a slow accelerate bounce then gas hard it should come up if not bounce harder and gas more.
