Re: 525 chain help

you'll prolly need a chain that is 2-4 links longer, but MAYBE not

If you wanna go cheap, I personally run KMC chain on my f4i, and has held up great for 12k+ miles so far. And it's CHEAP!

I think 120 links is plenty for your bike. My f4i only takes 118 links with a 60t rear

on a different bike?

I think 600rr's alone already have a longer swinger then a f4i, so would need a longer chain. And if your talking about a gsxr it might also be even longer

Re: 525 chain help

Still.... THAT much longer? And yeah, I'm talking about a gixxer. I used my stock chain when I went -1+4 so I don't see it being an issue on the 600RR

Re: 525 chain help

i run a 56 in the back on an f4i and had to cut off 5 or 6 off a 120. i sau just get a new chain. its always nicer to have that peice of mind when youve got somthing brand new workin with new parts, instead of prayin your old **** holds together
