im still a noob, but so far i like my 04 r6....i dont have a 12 bar so havent been smashin my subframe yet either....but the bp seems to be pretty high compared to other bikes

LOL My subframe video is gangster ...

The subframes are like glass on an R6, and so is the stock fairing stay. Tried beefing up the subframe with steel plate and it just found another weak area of the subframe and broke there. Needless to say, when I took it off, it was in about 7 pieces.

On the good side, the R6 has a nice strong idle
