i own an 03 r6...i really like it, except get ready to replace the subframe if he is gonna stunt. they are ****, and break VERY easy

you can get one from impaktech(i think thats the name, ill look it up). they are sturdy as **** from what i hear.

Re: R6 stunt bike

Go talk to OCCMUSTANG. I ride with him. He has an 04 with an 05 front end and engine he doesn't stunt anymore. Has a 905 upper stay. SI round bar I believe. And a Powers cage. It's geared. Just not sure how much. Up 10 I think. He might take that for it. He just wants to get rid of it.

It works great!

And with a SI cage on it you can drop it how much you want! :YEAH

the only bad thing is the ******* subframe

if he wants an R6 i would suggest a 99-02 model, they are carb'd, but take a lot more abuse and he will be able to find one for the money he is looking to spend.

they arent in all reality, the balance point is a little higher than most bikes, but the main reason everyone has a negative opinion on them is because of how fragile they are.

Re: R6 stunt bike

If you run full fairing a after market fairing stay is a must, subframe is junk, besides that though its a decent bike but I would suggest a f4i or at least the 99-02 r6 if he is really set on a r6.
