The 600 comes stock with a long first gear that I didn’t like so I changed it to have the same first gear as the 636 which makes starts much stronger, easier, and easier on the clutch.
This was not cheap

These engines are strong. I don’t have any problem sticking with a built 750 on the 636, it is a little harder on the 600 but can be done if you hold tucked into their draft and will out pull a 1000cc bike out of the turns in first, second, and third gear.
These bikes won the number one plate and won a lot of regional championships and black hawk track championships
