Re: front brake pad rattling

you need new rotors (unless you happen to have full floating rotors, they rattle, even if there brand new)

yeah if u have floating roters and ur hearing chattering. grab the rotor and try to move it like u want to spin the wheel back and forth.

Re: front brake pad rattling

its discs not rotors :LOL but yeah i checked em ,didnt seem warped bent or anythin ,its like the piston isnt keepin the brake pad against the disc so its rattleing but it was moving freely when i cleaned and re-greased it :shruggs .but maybe it is very slightly bent or somethin ,i got a couple of spare rotors so ill change em see if that stops it ,cheers anyway.

yeah the little clips are on ,i just swaped em over and bent them a bit to put more tension on em ,its still a bit loose but better, gona see if that helped when im out later.if its them ill replace em.aslong as the brakes work its cool, just the rattlings getting annoyin lol .cheers

had a warped disc on my old bike and when the brakes were applyed you know it was bent, and it was just a slight bend too.
