Re: Your opinion?
sprigfield xd sub compact 40 s&w great weapon not to expensive
40 is already a hand cannon, now let's chop another inch off the barrel.... No thanks. |
Re: Your opinion? Colt Combat Commander modded. Great gun, concealed well but had some weight to it and I have no ass so my pants had trouble staying decent. Switched to the PT92 and shoulder holster dont care for that rig. I usually just keep it n the car anymore and only carry as a back up when hunting. As an everyday carry pistol u should consider an HK p2000. They feel awesome, conceal well, and are pretty light weight. |
Re: Your opinion? You pick up a new piece yet? |
Re: Your opinion? Nah. Still doing my homework. I might just but 89735 new guns cuz I can't decide |
Re: Your opinion? Word, you can never have to many guns |
Re: Your opinion?
40 is already a hand cannon, now let's chop another inch off the barrel.... No thanks.
I'd hardly consider the .40 a hand cannon. |
Re: Your opinion?
Word, you can never have to many guns
+1 :cheers I have a S&W Chief's Special 9mm.....holds 7 and 1......it conceals nicely and has a spare mag if you need more than 8......I love my Dan Wesson .357 but it's a hand cannon and not a good concealed weapon!! :LOL |
Re: Your opinion?
I'd hardly consider the .40 a hand cannon.
no shit ... my 5'1" 110lb wife shoots my .40 |
Re: Your opinion?
no shit ... my 5'1" 110lb wife shoots my .40
Maybe i'm just used to a weapon with less recoil. I shot a sub compact xd40 and it was crazy |
Re: Your opinion? Try a different .40. The glocks and xd's have somewhat of a weird recoil compared to others. |
Re: Your opinion? I think I'm back to an XD45C. I know the gun and have never had any issues with it. |
Re: Your opinion?
40 is already a hand cannon, now let's chop another inch off the barrel.... No thanks.
Hand canon .. lol come shoot my .460 XVR :yeah
I think I'm back to an XD45C. I know the gun and have never had any issues with it.
I like XD's for sure But I dont think I would CC one if I could . Like I said before 1911 all the way with a p3at back up .. 1911's are just so slim & a all metal firearm with .45's in it just makes you feel nice & warm .. lol |
Re: Your opinion? All steel is too heavy to carry daily |
Re: Your opinion?
All steel is too heavy to carry daily
I guess for some :shruggs but I got to say there are a lot of people who would say your wrong .. :hello |
Re: Your opinion? True. I know many swear by a 1911, but I ride LONG distance, and agile, active, playing with my 180lbs dog, stunting (or atleast trying to) and the like. That is a lot of weight for ALL day EVERY day |
Re: Your opinion? Kel tec pf9. That is what I am picking up next. Under $300, and easily concealable. |
Re: Your opinion?
True. I know many swear by a 1911, but I ride LONG distance, and agile, active, playing with my 180lbs dog, stunting (or atleast trying to) and the like. That is a lot of weight for ALL day EVERY day
I wouldnt knock it till you try it .. in a nice IWB holster the slim line of the 1911 makes it disappear ..:shruggs but if you like plastic guns then there are lighter options . my P3at will be the only plastic firearm I will ever buy ( & im still thinking of selling it) PS tell some of the Bmore Dirt bike riders that a 1911 is to heavy to carry all day & ride with .. they will laugh . Dem boys hold down corners &deal with more shit then I would guess anyone beside LEO ( & maybe more then them) True stroy - 2006 Johnny Bmore : hey isnt the 1911 a little heavy to carry with out a holster . Bmore Rider: If you care more about your pants sagg'n then your life I guess .. |
Re: Your opinion? Looks kinda cheap... as in NOT good quality. I appreciate the input though. |

Re: Your opinion? Forgot to tell you, H&K's P30 is coming out in .40 in April. Great gun and comes w/ different size grips. It makes for a great duty weapon as well. |
Re: Your opinion? Price? |
Re: Your opinion? Seen'em for 700, but there only available in 9mm right now. |
Re: Your opinion? I am looking at a new EVERYDAY carry weapon. I use the Beretta 92 on a daily basis as well as a Clock 23. I want somethign to carry CONCEALED and be comfortable and accurate. I have looked at Tanfoglio, S&W 645, Springfield XD and XD-M, and am open to suggestions ____________________ Personal Trainer London |

Re: Your opinion? my dad carries the taurus judge. It shoots .45 Colt, .45 ACP and .410 shotgun shells. the thing is nasty man. got a lifetime warranty. no idea what they cost something for ya to think about?? |
Re: Your opinion? Ithey do not shoot .45 ACP. atleast not when I talked to Taurus the last time. And they are HEAVY. Like 38 oz. Thanks for the input but I think I'll pass |
Re: Your opinion? Taurus 85 ultra-lite as soon as I get off work. Can't wait |
Re: Your opinion? New Sig P250 looks like a good piece. Gona try it out this week. They run about 5 bills. Suppose to be a great gun from what I hear |
Re: Your opinion? I hated them. |
Re: Your opinion? What didn't you like |
Re: Your opinion? Trigger pull and SA mechanism |
Re: Your opinion? I carry a springfield xd 40 sub compact i love it |

H&K Colt - i had it plated. they are blued orginially |

Re: Your opinion? My XD was field stripped in about the same. Guess how long it takes me to field strip my Taurus 85? It doesn't. I WIN! |
Re: Your opinion? Kept it simple. Glock 27: +1 grip extension, TFO sights, ext mag release & slide lock, custom leather ITW holster w/ spare mag... works for my EDC. |
Re: Your opinion? We had this talk. NO Glocks |
