Re: who drags and who doesnt
dragiin is the only way ill do it... :2cents
+1. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt both, if im going for hard and fast/ ruthless. its leg out... way out. nice and smooth is knee down. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt leg out is the dirtbike way...sometimes you can catch yourself with it, but leg out is mostly for balance...personally (not to offend anyone) I think dragging knee on any dirtbike/motard looks retarded and you'll never see me do it.......make you look like a squid. sit on the gas cap and put out that leg unless your on a sportbike |
Re: who drags and who doesnt Put your Knee down if its a fast long corner... Put a leg out if your backing it in a tight corner... Both have their place when riding a motard....Your gonna look like a dumb ass if your putting a foot out road racing. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt
draggin knee on a tard is not gangsta:nono
Well.., are you sure? Re: who drags and who doesnt I street ride a XR650R supermoto and race a CRF450R supermoto. On the 650 im normally knee out unless its a really tight turn. Foot out is for slow speed tight turns, when im on the track im constantly touching the peg to the ground and you cant keep you foot on the peg. If your racing its just not possible to be fast with your knee out...Know i suppose if your on a big track where you cant scrape pegs then knee out would be alright. All the tracks i ride are almost like kart tracks though. I race much better with foot out, gets through the turns much quicker. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt Well, i ride in dirt so i can only but a foot out. Even on the ocasional ride on the cement i still have dirt tires on i cant put a knee down. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt 1 Attachment(s) whats gangsta is draggin bars. :cheers |
Re: who drags and who doesnt Knee draggin on motard looks kinda gay if you ask me:LOL , looks like you took a roadracer in his tight leather pajamas and put him on the wrong bike. Motocross gear and leg out is the way to go:apimp Of course it depends on what kind of track you're on. Supermotos are built for tight corners, so if ur on a gokart track you won't be able to kneedrag anyway. But ok if you for some reason bring your supermoto to a roadracing track it might be ok to kneedrag, but it still looks gay:Dsmile. Get a sportsbike instead  |

Around here there's a lot of roads where sumos will hand a sportbike their ass just due to the weight difference and lean angle. And I'll bet I don't look half as gay in my leather pajamas on my sumo than in a hospital gown in the ICU. :LOL |
Re: who drags and who doesnt
And I'll bet I don't look half as gay in my leather pajamas on my sumo than in a hospital gown in the ICU. :LOL
+1... When I ride the twisties I ride hard and would much rather go down in my leathers than some motocross gear. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt how many people here are actually tracking there supermotos?...or is this a question about looking cool? |
Re: who drags and who doesnt
how many people here are actually tracking there supermotos?...or is this a question about looking cool?
I haven't yet but this spring I will be going to the track a lot. |
Re: who drags and who doesnt
+1... When I ride the twisties I ride hard and would much rather go down in my leathers than some motocross gear.
Yeah man, we have some primo twisties around these parts and I feel the same way. Plus MX gear is usually mostly made of rayon / nylon predominately and that shit just melts......literally.....and sticks to you. Plus it won't last long on the pavement at speed, it'd be gone in no time. |
