Re: 636 help

i'm almost 100% sure this is it. what you described was exactly how my ignition was. how do you have it mounted? mine went bad from moisture settling in the bottom cap from being upside down

Re: 636 help

its mounted upright so no water should have gotten into it but i will take that cap off and check..i have to go to work i will check when i get off and let you no

i had the same problem with my 04! its your ignition switch! one of the wires either came loose or broke the solder right off! take apart your ignition and see if one of the wires came loose! mine kept doin the same thing after a hard fall so i finally wired the ignition to a toggle switch and it fixed the problem!!! but im pretty sure its your ignition man!!

Exactly...

So ugh man have you plugged in a new ignition to see if it works? anything? I'd almost bet you that $10 that is ur problem.

Re: 636 help

dont have another ignition to plug in or i would...i have taken apart the ignition and all wires were still good. If i could run it to a toggle i would do that
