looks cool! but why do you think this has never been done before by manufacturers? the idea is cool but is it practical? doesn't your disc become to hot in short time? it's just an idea...

WTF are you talking about?I didn't see anywhere that it said it has never been done before. And why would it get to hot in a short period of time? It's for a handbrake setup for stunting, not for extra stopping power. You don't use both at the same time ****head:banghead

Ok I understand.. I have never seen it before on bikes so that's why I said manufacturers have never done this before. In stunt movies I haven't seen it too before.

Cool product. I suppose you could drill it for ANY calipers to fit, maybe even a front caliper

Re: dual caliper bracket set up (pimp)

great idea, 905 had a killer design one too, personally i like everything about dual caliper other than the fact that its a ***** to change the tire.

making one for a front caliper would be savage, if he gets it legitamately i bet i could sell quite a few for him up here, holla atcha boy

Phillykneck runs a front caliper on his bike for his HB setup. Prolly not a bad idea.

Re: dual caliper bracket set up (pimp)

the thing about f4i's or any honda and yamaha is that the caliper slides a rod unlike the gsxr and 636(636 slides on a rod too but is bolted to a different bracket first) He can make them for an f4i but i think the cost might go up a little because he will he to do somemore welding and cutting. i'll ask him tonight and let everyone know. I know f4i's are really big in stuntin so i'll make sure he gets er done.:YEAH

Re: dual caliper bracket set up (pimp)

We've been building those for about 2 years, just not massed produced. They work all right but a better option is welding and tapping a fitting on to the rear master and running a line to a handbrake.

2 calipers , 2 sets of lines ....... it works but there's better easier ways.

We here in Az perf dual calpier for a couple of reasons one you dont have to change pads as much and if one system brakes or fails you can use the other. personal preference and how much money you want to spend. keep up the good work. :YEAH [QUOTE=5thgear]We've been building those for about 2 years, just not massed produced. Re: dual caliper bracket set up (pimp)

Becareful on what calipers you use cause i tried gxsr calipers (because they are dual piston calipers) and they hit the inside of the wheel and wouldn't sit down on the rotor all the way. I think you can use 636 calipers on everything but gsxr but if everyone uses 636 calipers kawi capiler stocks are going to go threw the roof. :LOL

I had to see for myself and you know what it looks like a match made in heaven. Clearance looks good on the back side also it should be easier to fabricate the bracket 2 pistons might be better than one and last brake pads are longer on front caliper providing a little more contact area. :2cents :shruggs

Front right caliper works off F4i, 954 or 929
