Main fuse keeps blowing! Can anyone shed light as to why my main fuse (a 30) keeps blowing? It happened twice, and luckily I carry spares cos once its blown theres no power to the ignition, no power to anything! Its the one located on the same mount as the regulator/rectifier under the seat. |
Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! Have you checked the reg? I dont realy know much about this stuff but Boxer is good with it so he may be of some help to you. |

Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! Check all your terminals and connections for corrosion and bad connections. Does the starter motor sound ok when you're cranking it, it's its a bit cactus it might be drawing too many amps. |

Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! You Have An Open Circuit Somewhere In Your Harness. Could Be A Pinched Or Frayed Wire, Could Be A Certain Electrical Part Failure. How Often Does It Occur? |

Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! It happens only when stuntin so far. I will look into the bits mentioned, cos when stuntin, its the only time I have the fan override switch on to keep motor cool, so maybe its overloading something and blowing it. :banghead |
Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! wire in a circuit breaker ........... sounds like a wireing fault to me, have u found when it happens? like when the bike gets hot ie thermo fan!!! |
Re: Main fuse keeps blowing! Maybe also chech the earth harness that has all the green wires. If that is corroded or loose it could also be causing your prob |
