I've been trying wheelies for like 6 months I see progress but no as much as I would.................. even got me a crf50 to practice on but still not happy with my wheelies
what should I do? should I sell my bike and buy a boat
& get fat fishing? or should I keep trying? how long did you guys practice before pop a real wheelli or get to the BP?

Re: trying NOT to give up!!!
If you're serious then don't quit, bp is something that takes different people varying amounts of time to get tp. i'm not there yet and i've been practicing for a few months. the main thing is to get comfortable with your bike and practice
Re: trying NOT to give up!!!
don't quit man, every stunter was at least once in the situation when they thought it's impossible, too hard, not worth, will never learn etc. but you have to understand that this takes time, money and alot of practice...
Re: trying NOT to give up!!!
Yea man If you really wanna learn wheelies you shouldn't even be thinking about quitting. You get out it what you put into it. If You wanna wheelie then wheelie if you wanna boat go buy a boat. Bp really isnt that hard to get, I just learn where my bp is it took me a month and I'm honest to god I've never touched my rear break once I actually ride with my left foot on the shiter and my right foot on the rear peg. you just gotta get comfortable with ur bike and keep trying... Well good luck
Re: trying NOT to give up!!!
sounds like you aren't trying hard enough. my sister learned a wheelie on her f2 in 6 months.
if you really wanted to you'd be out practicing hard, not on here complaining. if you want to then go out and do it, but it sounds like you are making an excuse to me.

Re: trying NOT to give up!!!
just curious ....seriously .... are you talking 1 or 2 hours a week of dedicated practice ? OR just maybe trying to Pop 10 or 20 wheelies during a one hour street ride ?
OR are you talking about 4 or 5 days a week 1 to 2 hours a day.... trying to launch 50 to 100 wheelies and hour ? :YEAH
I think it requires the latter
set a goal to do 5000 launches....then Figure out the average of how many launches you can get in an hour (100 for instance...if your not riding them far and they arent lasting a long time) THEN ...keep a record of how often you practice....50 hours later (5 weeks...if you can get 10 hours a week in ) You will have approx 5000 launches
result = after 5000 launches you will see progress that you're happy with and it will drive you to want ot keep going...good luck , have fun
