Ok so I meet up with a few local riders today(Sunday) and we decide to head out to a REALLY twisty road -Tortillia Flats - switch backs, corners with no graud rails,massive drop offs, and one way in and one way out...it's up in the mountians just out side Phoenix....you get the idea....

anyway 3 of us head in with out a problem.... taking it easy.... we stop at the bottom to relax and have some lunch.... no problem so far.... we get talking and they ask if I would like to lead back out.... so I did... well there is a ton of traffic and we are railing the corners... passing on double yellows... all the really stupid crap that makes this kind of road fun and dangerious... well some where there is a park ranger hiding and 2 county cops.... yup... they saw us head in and on the way out we got persuded by the cops... and they called a head to the ranger who set up a road block and stopeed us took out keys and detained us for 20 minutes until the cops we passed finaly showed up....

they give us the 5 digree and tell us how they are going to haul us off to jail and inpund the bikes... well they go run our info and one cop and the ranger start talking to us and we start bs'ing about riding and they start to mellow out... the arresting officer comes back talks to the other cop and ranger and dicides because he only had 9 minutes left in his shift and it would talk way to longto book us he decided to let us go.....and the best part... when we get uor keys back and are putting out helemts on a helicoptor shows up and they tells us that it was called in for us because we were going so fast they thought we were running..... ...

I think a lotto ticket is a great idea....and buy me 1 too I'l pay you back when you get home...or you can just owe me less at the grove....

 

Mike glad to see you made it to tortilla flats awesome aint it!! :YEAH NOw ya get to see the roads I used to ride on a weekly basis. there aint nothing better than railin around knee to the ground and realize that there is no guard rail on the outside of the turn and its 100 FT DROP. how sweet is that!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Riding out here is AWESOME!!!!! yesterday while rolling up the 10 and down the 60 we were doing 95 and no one cared... in fact we got passed by a few cars.... plus the bike lane that just rocks....

I have never been so intimated by a cop before... I was acutally thinking Iwas going to jail ... but later that night we went to Fat Tuedays and had a couple of drinks and we laughed so hard at how we were all freaking out....

Wednesday night is going to be PIMP... they are taking me back up to Mill road for bike night... Mill road in right in the Midle of ASU and they told me that the line both sides of the streets with sport bikes.... normally around 300 to 400 bikes....

the RS got trailered out here almost 3 weeks ago before we had the nice weather back home to break in the Triple... and I am more comfortable and can ride the RS better right now

and my powermax exhaust wasn't in yet for the Triple... go figure it came in the Friday i flew out

 

OH! to all of you that plan on traveling by plane soon ..............DO NOT..............i repeat.............DO NOT..........go though mid-way airport.if you like the badio more power to ya.i though mike was going to pee himself.hey mike get lots of pics if you can.

 

I have been in some neighbor hoods down here that make that look like nothing...... in fact Sunday night passing through a bad part of Phoenix we had guys in cars asking us for change at a stop light while we were still on our bikes and one dude tried to wash the wind sheild on one of the guys bike no that was funny.... But I didn't want to laugh.... I was thinking the guy would come over to me....

 

next time tell him to wash your ***** and see what happens bet that rs will go faster than you've ever had it!

 

Have fun man mills is awesome and the girls that walk the streets are better. a + to that is alot of the bikes are different so there is alot of variety sounds like your having a good time see ya when you get back

 

Man this has been the best vacation ever!!! I have been all over. The other day I went to Mexico, and today me and a guy I meet down here went to Sodona and then up 89a to Flagstaff... about 450 miles today....


But the best was last night... lets just say 3 little words will sum up the night... "Cholacate Pudding Wrestling" can't wait to get home to post some pics

 

ahhh.......sniffle sniff......we sent mike off as a little boy.........now he's becoming a man........ to in under a week!bout time you got out!wait till daytona! he he he glad your having fun down there.
